Swedish Massage Therapy

The modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. Our Swedish relaxation massage is the classic stress-relieving, medium pressure technique massage that uses varied strokes of gliding and kneading to promote circulation and an overall sense of well-being. It is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Reflexology

A natural therapy that induces deep relaxation and reduces bodily tension, which in turn improves health and vitality. Reflexology techniques are applied to the hands and feet where reflexes that correlate with the entire body are found. Reflexology is believed to work though the nervous, electrical, magnetic and chemical systems of the body. Reflexology promotes balance in the body, mind and spirit.

Medical Massage-Injury Specific

After reviewing the referral (prescription) form from your doctor, we take the time to do an evaluation of your condition and symptoms. We then develop a treatment plan, which often involves a series of treatments to help you get well. We follow the doctor’s recommendations for areas to be treated, time per session and number of sessions. Advanced manual therapy techniques are used. Documented notes are taken after each session, and we follow-up with your doctor on how you are doing. All Massage therapy appointments are provided by a professionally trained Arizona State Licensed Massage Therapist (also known as LMT).
